    After my stepfather was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer last fall, I have been passionate about colon cancer awareness and prevention. My platform, Get Your Rear in Gear: Colon Cancer Awareness and Prevention will ensure that all Minnesotans have the knowledge they need to prevent and detect colon cancer!

Welcome! I am so honored to represent St. Paul as I compete for the title of Mrs. Minnesota International 2010.

Get Your Rear in Gear: Colon Cancer Awareness and Prevention is my platform and my passion. My stepdad Jim was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in Fall 2008 when he was only 49 years old. Since this diagnosis, I have learned that colon cancer is 100% preventable through regular screenings, knowing your family history, and living a healthy lifestyle. “Get Your Rear in Gear” is my message to all Minnesotans that our fight to prevent colon cancer must begin today! My own family has motivated me to be the best that I can be as a wife, professional, and volunteer. My wonderful husband Chris supports me day in and day out—read my bio to meet him! Together we volunteer in our community and go running (we even ran the Twin Cities Marathon together)! Please visit my website and blog often for updates on my appearances and activities!
