Sponsor Spotlight: Orchard Harvest Candle Company

Orchard Harvest Candle Company is one of my wonderful sponsors this year. Owner Mary Wisniewski and her family have grown apples, cherries, and other fruits for many years in the “Fruit Ridge” area of Western Michigan. These surroundings were their inspiration to produce hand-poured, richly scented candles from natural waxes and premium grade fragrances or essential oils.

Orchard Harvest is especially near and dear to my heart because they made the Unity Candle that my husband Chris and I used at our wedding! Over two years later, the candle is as beautiful as ever and still graces our living room:
Our unity candle--over 2 years and going strong!
Not only are Orchard Harvest candles beautiful to look at (take a peek at their contemporary and holiday & seasonal candles!), but they smell amazing, too! I recently sampled some scents, and several have already become my favorites:

Pumpkin spice and orchard festival: these are perfect for fall! The pumpkin spice scent tricked Chris into thinking that I had baked a pumpkin pie, while the orchard festival scent is both spicy and sweet—like a warm mug of cider!
Blackberry and sage tea and cherry almond: these scents are more subtle, but still richly scented. They add the perfect accent to our living room!
Myrrh: this was one of my favorites! Of course I’d heard of myrrh before, but didn’t actually realize what it smelled like—and it smells delicious! Slightly spicy and rich, myrrh will be perfect around the holidays.
Hawaiian holiday: OK, OK, I know it’s almost winter here in Minnesota, but I couldn’t resist! The delicate, floral scent will be perfect the next time I want to take a bubble bath and “get away from it all.”

Whether you’re looking for a gift (I’m partial to the aroma oil reed diffusers), a fundraising idea for your church or school, or just a beautiful accent to your home, Orchard Harvest Candle Company has something for you. I am so honored to count Mary and her family among my sponsors! A HUGE thank-you to Orchard Harvest Candle Company for their support!

I also love these candles. The scents last longer, as do the candles themselves. And no soot!

When unpacking holiday decor this year, I encountered a container where some of my Orchard Harvest Candles had been stored. How beautiful it smelled when I opened the lid! The scent responsible was called “Holiday Blend” and I’m going to buy some extra candles with that scent and use them just for storage this year.
