The METRO 100 Party

Last Thursday, Jen (Mrs. Ramsey County), Molly (Mrs. Minneapolis), Mary (Miss Washington County) Amy (Miss Sherburne County), and I volunteered at the METRO 100 Party. Sponsored by METRO magazine, the 100 Party takes place each year and celebrates 100 things that make the Twin Cities unique. This year the 100 Party was held in Northeast Minneapolis, and it was a blast!

Even though Thursday night’s downpour caused the event to be moved inside, a little rain didn’t stop anyone from having a wonderful time! Along with the other contestants, I helped welcome guests and create “all access passes” to the event, which featured food, shopping, and discounts at area businesses. Guests also enjoyed music and performance acts throughout the night, ending with a concert by the local band Solid Gold. Thanks to Jen, Molly, Mary and Amy for helping out and to METRO Magazine for the fun opportunity to support Twin Cities businesses!
